Here you can control basic program settings and behavior. These settings apply to every drive that is configured with program.

• Read / Write speeds - used to control transfer speeds for your drives. Below you will find a speed applied to currently selected drive. Please note that these speeds do not always match. This is because certain speeds may not be used with either drive or medium. In this case, program will set the first available transfer rate that does not exceed speed selected by You.

• Eject disc after write - when enabled, drive will automatically eject disc once it is written.

• Playback settings - this group allows you to specify AHI device used to play / preview your tracks and to enable playback. Please note that FryingPan will not run without AHI available (see Requirements section for list of required packages).

• Audio output - here you can select module that will be used as output filter for downloaded tracks. Unfortunately, LibLame MP3 does not always work (not to mention it's very slow), so choose it carefully.
